In the recent twist of events, Goa police filed FIR against Poonam Panday and a man for shooting an obscene video on a beach in Goa. Women's wing of Goa Forward Party had allegedly filed a complaint against the controversial queen in Goa, for shooting a ‘porn video’ at Goa's Chapoli Dam in Canacona. Later, FIR was filed against an unknown person for shooting the video in question. Now in the recent development, South Goa Police have detained Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Bombay for trespassing into a government property and shooting an obscene video.

As per latest reports, Poonam along with her husband Sam Bombay have been detained by the South Goa Police. They were picked from North Goa. As per NDTV, the complaint against Poonam and Sam stated, “We would like to draw your attention towards an alleged porn video starring actor Poonam Pandey which is being circulated over social media in the state. This video is a sort of assault on Goan women and has tarnished the image of Goa. The shooting of this porn video is done at Chapoli dam Canacona, which has shocked the people of Cancona, famous for its culture.”

Recently, filmmaker Apurva Israni had reacted to FIR against Poonam for shooting nude video and Milind Soman’s number picture. He had tweeted, “#PoonamPandey & #MilindSoman both stripped down to their birthday suits in #Goa recently. Pandey partly, Soman completely. Pandey is in legal trouble--for obscenity. Soman is being lauded for his fit body at age 55. I guess we are kinder to our nude men than to our nude women.”


Pankaj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP) South Goa told ANI, “Based on the complaint lodged by Assistant Engineer sub-division II works division, Water Resources Department, an offence has been registered under Section 294 of IPC. The police are investigating and further sections may be added as the investigation proceeds.
